Policy Update:
\nWhen we started out in 2004, minimum consumable for free assistant was php2,800 and assistant’s fee was php400. Today, minimum consumable package starts at php5,500 with assistant’s fee at php1,320. Cost-wise, we are absorbing an extra 15% in staff costs compared to when we started. While we constantly try to shoulder increasing costs, the bigger concern lies in providing better service with higher volume of gear requirement.<\/p>\n
Our individual equipment rate has stayed the same all throughout the years. We only increased once to cover increasing maintenance cost while absorbing labor costs. With individual equipment rate staying the same, the assistant ends up having more gear to handle for each shoot.<\/p>\n
For this reason, we are modifying our minimum consumable packages to accomodate better service over free logistics.<\/p>\n
Minimum Consumable Package Rates:
\nPhP5,500 total gear rent – free 1 assistant for 8 hours
\nPhP8,800 total gear rent – free 2 assistants for 8 hours
\nPhP11,000 total gear rent – free 2 assistants for 8 hours with free logistics for 10km radius from LEGAR, New Manila, QC<\/p>\n
The number of required assistants will depend on the gear list. Normal amount of gear one assistant can handle are 2-3 lights and a background. It also depends on what kind of stands and other accessories as well. LightRentalsPH reserves the right to require how many assistants should go in one shoot. <\/p>\n
